Deal residents not wild about blue movie makers

Deal is a wonderful town. It's also my home. We love it for its coffee shops, pier, castle, beach and because it's a great place to spend time. We want more tourists to come and have a great day out. Yet I draw the line at Girls Gone Wild's plan to come and make their movies here.

What they do is hang around pubs and clubs late at night and exploit drunk women. They offer them a T shirt if they will lift their tops up. Women who seem enthusiastic are invited back to their coach to shoot a blue movie that will be with them for the rest of their lives. The Kent on Sunday reports in more detail here.

This is not the sort of image we want for our town, nor is it right for young women to be exploited.
